I am thankful for everyday
that Christ takes my sin away
My burdens he wraps and binds
and in full each price he pays
All the empty spaces I've left behind
and every dark corner of my mind
He walks with me to each place
and carries away everything we find
But before we leave each space
with a gentle smile upon his face
He tells me it will be okay
and gives me a warm, gentle embrace
